Profile

I grew up in North Vancouver and have been a city resident for over 45 years.  I have raised my family here.  My roots are firmly planted in North Vancouver and I have recently retired from a rewarding business career.

Why am I stepping forward to run for City Council?

I am concerned with the direction the current council is taking us. I would like to be part of a new council for positive change, starting with fiscal responsibility.

My straightforward promise is to put the people who live and work in the City of North Vancouver first in decision making.

I commit to bringing practical fiscal management, transparency, accountability, community engagement and common sense back to City Hall.

My Experience and Credentials - 12 Years of Volunteer Community Service

Serving for six years on the City of North Vancouver's Social Planning Advisory Committee (SPAC) gave me invaluable insight into how our municipal government operates

For six years, I served on the Friends Society Board of Directors for MONOVA. I was initially appointed to the role of Treasurer and later moved onto revising the membership program. I had the privilege of collaborating with an incredible team focused on a singular goal: opening the Museum's doors. Seeing that vision come to life was the result of years of collective hard work and dedication.

A business education from the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Commerce. Graduated in 2002 with a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management.
